Welcome to the Pinoy Healthy Living: Low Carbon Lifestyle website!

We aim for Healthy People, a Healthy planet.
Planet Earth today is threatened by climate change, with worsening natural disasters leading to loss of life and property, destroying biodiversity, and altering agricultural patterns.
To prevent climate change from happening, we must lessen the emission of greenhouse gasses: carbon dioxide, methane, nitrate, sulphates. While countries can reduce through policy and other structural measures, every global citizen must contribute in reducing greenhouse gasses through a low carbon lifestyle.
The Philippines has a traditional culture that is low carbon. The Pinoy Low Carbon Lifestyle digs deeper into practices, values and behavior that present-day Filipinos and other people can emulate. For instance, certain cultures such as the Ilocanos are known for their frugality. Regional recipes from various regions of the Philippines can also guide us to a healthy diet, leading to long life.
